PHYSICIAN RESOURCES AND TRAINING

MEET TOBI: THE ORTHOBIOLOGIC INSTITUTE

The Orthobiologic Institute (TOBI) educates and empowers physicians through sharing research, establishing best practices, and providing ongoing networking, training, and practice mentorship to advance the field of regenerative medicine.

This is where leaders in orthobiologics—from physicians and technology manufacturers to scientists, government agencies, and leading universities—come together to transform the future of healing. TOBI interrogates medicine, discovers opportunities, probes innovative solutions, and challenges old ones. It’s where we intentionally chase and confront the most vital and hardest questions facing our practice and how we think of medicine. We poke it, make it better, and then we share it.

At TOBI, we believe our collective research, experience, and network is the most powerful instrument of healing. And, we believe the best medical solutions can only come from the continued learning and collaboration with those who administer it. The future of orthobiologics is what we choose to make it—at TOBI, we’re seekers and students exploring the frontier of a new kind of medicine and changing the way the world approaches healing.

A Catalyst for Innovation.

A Partner in Responsibility.

TOBI is more than a conference or a mentorship program. We work with physicians to make orthobiologics better for everyone. Everything we do—from our annual conference with more than 1,000 attendees from around the world to making data accessible and affordable is an initiative to improve the practice of orthobiologics.

That’s why the TOBI Networks and Conference creates a thoughtful and collaborative experience for each of our members and attendees. TOBI is Dr. Sampson’s response to a promising but increasingly complex field—to put our imagination and knowledge together, rethink the way we solve problems, and shape the next generation of orthopedic medicine. It is a pledge and an invitation to raise the bar in everything we do.

“I started The Orthobiologic Institute (TOBI) in 2009 with a sincere goal of creating a forum to connect physicians, share emerging science, and promote best practice in regenerative medicine. It started with just 20 physicians, and now over 1,000 doctors gather annually from over 40 countries to learn, share and advance the field together.”
