ABOUT DR. STEVEN SAMPSON

Steven Sampson, D.O. is an internationally recognized expert in the field of non-surgical orthopedics and the science of sports medicine. He graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency as Chief Resident at Saint Vincent Medical Center of Manhattan in New York. He is Diplomate of the American Board of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California Los Angeles. An industry leader in regenerative medicine, he was among the first physicians to clinically implement Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and publish research that continues to lay the foundation for further biologic-based therapies.
To share his research and develop best practices, Dr. Sampson established The Orthobiologic Institute (TOBI) as a platform to advance the field and cultivate a global community of physicians, scientists, and industry drivers. Through TOBI Conference and Networks, he leads a premier symposium and community of practitioners promoting an ethical, high-quality standardized approach to biologics advocating for its recognition as an effective treatment to common orthopedic conditions. In addition to globally influencing the orthopedic community, Dr. Sampson also serves as an advisor and consultant to private sector ventures and investment firms offering expertise on clinical studies, products, and treatment therapies.
